I think you have to consider

awards with some distance and

not get obsessed with it. When

you're creating you shouldn't think about it.

 

Awards are wonderful. I've been nominated many times and I've

won many awards. But my journey

is not towards that. If it happens it will be a blast. If it doesn't, it's still been a blast but the work is a

reward in itself. 

 

Friendships born on the field are

the real gold of competition.

Awards become corroded, friends gather no dust.
